A 14-disc Ruth Rendell Mysteries DVD box set was released by DD Home Entertainment in March 2007. This set includes the following non-Wexford Rendell titles:

- The Double
- A Dark Blue Perfume
- Front Seat

Network DVD also released a 9-disc Best of Ruth Rendell Mysteries box set in April 2007 featuring 3 Wexfords: Simisola (full length version), Road Rage and Harm Done; plus the 14 non-Wexford titles listed above.
3 Wexford Region 2 DVDs were released in the Netherlands in November 2006. Inspector Wexford 1 features: Harm Done plus The Lake of Darkness (a non-Wexford Rendell story produced by Blue Heaven for Meridian in 1999). Inspector Wexford 2 features Road Rage and Inspector Wexford 3: Simisola (full length version) plus a bonus 60 minute episode of Master of the Moor (another non-Wexford story) starring Colin Firth. The DVDs are in English with Dutch subtitles.
Road Rage and Harm Done were released on DVD (Region 2) by DD Home Entertainment in October 2006. An Inspector Wexford Box Set featuring both these titles plus an edited version (73m 7s) of Simisola is now also available. Road Rage and Simisola have also been released in the US on Region 1 DVD.

- All the TVS produced Wexford titles (1987-1992) are available on PAL VHS. Most of the titles have now been deleted but copies can still be found.
- Ruth Rendell Mysteries Set 4 - a Dutch box set featuring 4 non-Wexford titles: Going Wrong; You Can’t Be Too Careful; The Orchard Walls and The Fallen Curtain.
- Ruth Rendell DVD collection: released in Australia by Time Life.
- Inspector Wexford Box Set: Region 2 DVD box set released by DD Home Entertainment in October 2006.
- The Daily Mail launched its free Classic Detectives DVD series in January 2006. The series included an edited version of Simisola.
- Vine Box Set: A box set of 3 BBC produced Barbara Vine (Ruth Rendell) dramas released by Cinema Club on Region 2 DVD in 2005.
